Tibetan Earthquake Relief Fund

On April 14 2010 an earthquake in the magnitude of 7.1 hit the Tibetan town of Kyegu (Yushu in Chinese).

A request for help came from the head of Kyegu monastery – the largest monastery in the area- who has initiated a campaign to raise funds to help the people in the area, orphaned children in particular.
