We, the volunteer conference team has been working day and night (and sometimes even in our sleep) to bring you the best program lineup we can in the two weeks time on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May. To share our excitement, we will give you a sneak peak.

Have you packed your toothbrush?

While preparing for the conference over the Easter long weekend, we’ve also been reflecting on this year’s theme ‘Destination Mindfulness’. Whenever we embark on a new journey, we get a rush of excitement as we take a step into the unknown.

This year’s travel itinerary include:

Mindfulness and the Digital Age – Ven. Sujato
What is this Mind? Know I, No Me, I Know – H.E. Aenpo Kyabgon Rinpoche
Creating Authentic and Compassionate Relationships – Ven. Thubten Chodron
Psychology Meets Buddhism – Ven. Guo Jun
Panel: Spiritual Balance in a Competitive World – Sarah Napthali, Ven. Huifeng, Ven. Dhammadaasa & Ven. Sujato

Wherever this journey may lead you, we hope that it will bring you insight with on this lifetime adventure. Click here for the full program details

Destination what? Breakout sessions and Workshops

On both days of the conference, we will have breakout group discussion time where you can pick a topic that interests you. Just like being on a tour, you have 12 locations (topics) to choose from, including Destination Nirvana, Destination Urban Mindfulness, Destination Self-Compassion, Destination Forgiveness and Destination Emptiness.

An experienced tour guide (workshop facilitator) will be at each Destination, sharing their insights about each place, answering questions and much more. Tour guides include Sarah Napali, author of Buddhism for Mothers, Ven. Thubten Chodron and Ven. Huifeng. Each breakout group has a limited number of participants allowed so make sure you come early to lock in your favourite session.
