The Good Life – Teachings in North Sydney

The Good Life is a series of Dhamma talks and guided meditation presented by Bhante Sujato of Santi Forest Monastery. They are based on the Buddha’s original words, applied to address the concerns of today. The emphasis is on authenticity, depth, and practicality.

Teachings in Baulkham Hills

Bhante Sujato’s talks in Baulkham Hills will recommence on 18th Feb 2012. . The talks, organized by Lalitha Wijeratne and other community members, are held in a Guides hall set in a peaceful park.

The meditation and dhamma talk on Feb the 18th will be focused on the youth group and will include a group discussions. Children from 12 years old to 26 are very welcome .

When is it?

Saturday, 7-8.30pm.

Philosophy Night in Sydney

How to Grow a Happy

Philosophical Dialogue and Charity Fundraiser

This Philosophy Night we’ll be discussing the notion of “happiness”. What does it mean to be happy? Why do we seek it? Are we designed to be happy? This year’s panel will include a psychotherapist, Dr Eng-kong Tan, a philosopher, Dr Caroline West, and a Buddhist monk, Bhante Sujato.
