Last month, three devotees from Canberra kindly offered their weekend to help on a project at Santi. Friends, Sumith Yapa, Janaka Welikala and Imal Wijeratne pulled together and worked hard to replace and mend the steps through the forest on the path to Milk and Water kutis.
They also helped us finish off another project we had been doing, the creation of a new meditation platform.
And, even with all that work, they also managed to cook up a storm for all the monastery residents!
Many thanks to all three, who generously offered their time and support to help the monastery in this way. Sadhu Anumodana!
Janaka and his wife, Jinali, also offered a special reliquary for the shrine at the end of the weekend.
