Before you come to the monastery please read the fire information page under the ‘Dana‘ tab or the ‘Staying‘ tab on our website, so as you are fully informed and aware when visiting with us.

At this time of year we have to be very alert to the fire risk at Santi Monastery, whether residents or day visitors, as we are surrounded by very dry bush land and in a high wind area.

Our deep compassion and well-wishing goes out to all those who have been adversely affected by the devastating bushfires in NSW and QLD this month.

May the Bodhisattva of Compassion bring rain to the country and solace to all beings.
