For the safety of everyone coming to Santi, in order to help mitigate the risk of transmission, we have suggested the following guidelines for the next while:
- If you have been traveling overseas recently we would ask that you defer your visit to Santi until a 2-3 week incubation period has passed.
- If booking dana, please keep your group size to no larger than 8-10 people.
- If you or your children have any cold-like symptoms at all, no matter how mild, please choose to stay at home (and seek appropriate medical diagnosis if necessary).
- It’s perfectly OK to cancel your dana at short notice – just let us know.
- Please wash your hands regularly, especially with food preparation.
- We also ask that no children should be in the kitchen with food preparation or clean up.
- Additionally, if one of our residents at Santi becomes unwell with cold/flu like symptoms, we may need to cancel visitors and guests for a time until the illness or the concern has passed.
We have also made some small changes to the lunch time routine and clean up procedures to help keep the environment safer for everyone.
Thank you for your understanding. We value your wonderful support of Santi Monastery and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. May all beings be well!
