Coming together in Kindness for the Buddha’s Birthday
You are invited to the first ever online Buddha’s Birthday on 10 May 2020.
All of our Buddhist communities have rich cultural practices around Vesak. In a time when we must maintain physical distance, various Australian Buddhist organisations are creating togetherness online by sharing offerings of kindness to the world.
The Australian Sangha Association (ASA), the Federation of Australian Buddhist Councils (FABC), and state Buddhist Councils have come together to create this program which will consist of pre-recordings and live speakers from different parts of Australia.
The event will be held on Sunday 10 May 2020 (Mother’s Day to signify the birth of hope and light in the world) from 4 – 7 PM (AEST).
