A day of reflection on our journey in Samsara. Join us for our 2nd Celebration for Vesak 2024 at the Bowden Centre, Mount Annan Botanical Gardens, NSW. on Saturday the 25th of May 2024 day filled with Dhamma activities including dhamma talks, offerings to the triple jem, auspicious chanting, free meal, walk through the Botanical gardens, meditation by the lake and more.
Morning half of the event is indoors at Bowden Centre and if the weather permits, we hope to spend the afternoon outdoors. (In bad weather we will continue indoors).
In the spirit of generosity, a free vegetarian lunch and afternoon tea will be provided for everyone.
You are welcome to join us for the full day or any part of the day and kids are welcome.

11.00 am | Free lunch and listening to inspiring Buddhist songs and verses |
1.00 pm | A walk through the botanical gardens and meditation by the lake |
3.00 pm | Afternoon tea and an interactive dhamma activity (yet to decide) |
5.00 pm | Sharing of merits and end of the day |
Helpful notes:
- Schedule of events may change to adapt to the conditions of the day
- Remember to bring appropriate footwear, sun hats, water bottle etc., if you wish join us for the walk and meditation by the lake.
This is a free event, but registrations are essential due to the limited capacity of the venue and catering purposes.
