After Bhante’s departure, Santi’s programs will continue unchanged, including the annual rains retreat.
The rains retreat this year starts on the 3rd of August and ends on 30th October 2012.
If you would like to bring dana during vassa please take a look at our calendar for dates with no dana offers. For the first two weeks (3rd Aug to 17th Aug) we plan an intensive silent meditation and we would very much appreciate your help in bringing cooked food during this period.
You may choose to bring dana to the monastery yourself or if you are very busy but would still like to contribute you can call local businesses that will take orders and deliver to Santi. Some of these places are: Chinese restaurant 4883 6368 ; Bundanoon Deli 4883 6062; or you can try others who are listed on this website. Santi’s address is 100 coalmines Rd. Bundanoon.
On average there will be 10 people during this Vassa, which includes 5 Monastics and lay people.
