Silent Meditation Day: Inclining Towards Contentment

You are invited to join us for a quiet day of sutta contemplation and meditation in the tranquil surrounds of Santi Forest Monastery.

This event is free of charge. A simple vegetarian lunch and hot and cold drinks will be provided. You are welcome to bring a plate of food to share.

9.00 am – 10.00 am – Guided Meditation
10.00 am – 10.30 am – Walking meditation
10.30 am – 11.00 am – Sitting meditation
11.00 am – 12.30 pm – Shared Lunch in silence
12.30 pm – 1.30 pm – Dhamma Talk
1.30 pm – 3.30 pm – Sitting & walking meditation/ walk in the bush or relaxation
3.30 pm – 4.00 pm – Guided Meditation and Sharing merits
4.00 pm – 5.00 pm – Sitting & walking meditation (optional)
5.00 pm – 5.30 pm – Tea with the monastics (optional)

You are welcome to arrive from 8.00am

What to bring – Good walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, warm clothing (Southern Highlands is always a few degrees cooler). 

Meditation mats, cushions, stools and chairs are provided

You are invited to bring a plate of food to share (take-away food is fine, if you don’t cook).
